Samsung is all set to capitalize on the success of Galaxy A22 and now its successor is about to make its debut in India. It’s just been three weeks that galaxy A22 made its way into the Indian market, so why Galaxy A22 5G now?
As per Samsung, the A22 5G would be the cheapest 5G phone available in India. The phone will be utilizing 11 5G bands against the 2 5G bands offered by Chinese 5G smartphones.

Earlier today, Samsung India took Twitter to announce the arrival of the Galaxy A22 5G. As can be seen in the short introduction that the phone is aimed at gamers. Will this be Samsung’s best attempt to have a low-end gaming smartphone. We will have to wait and see.
Specs Explained
Galaxy A22 5G phone will be equipped with Dimensity 700 processor. We have already seen the capabilities of the processor in POCO M3 Pro 5G. During our review of the POCO M3 Pro 5G, we were quite impressed with the gaming performance of the phone. So it is safe to assume that we would have the same experience with Galaxy A22 5G.
Samsung is offering the 90Hz refresh rate in A22 5G. And the phone is rumored to be priced at INR 19,999. Which is a little above then its competitor POCO M3 Pro. We will see how the market reacts to the price. We are almost sure that the camera result of the Samsung phone will be better than the POCO M3 Pro.
A few days earlier we saw a Samsung launching Galaxy F22 in India at a price tag of INR 11,499. That phone received mixed ruction from users. The phone was aimed at lower-end users and was not packing anything extraordinary.
Moreover, Samsung is also planning for the August 11th launch of Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3, alongside Buds 2 and Galaxy watch 4. It’s an exciting month ahead and we can not wait to see the un-packed event.
Although Samsung is planning to set up an assembly plant in Pakistan, we haven’t heard of the launch of A22 5G yet in Pakistan
So let us wait and see how the Samsungs latest attempt to capture mid-range 5G market goes.
