Samsung is innovating new ideas and here comes Galaxy Watch ECG function in Active 2 and Watch 3 series.
Back in January, Samsung announced that Samsung Galaxy Watch Active2 and Watch3 would receive the support of ECG and Blood pressure monitoring worldwide. We initially thought that the rollout of this feature will start soon but it took quite a time, by Samsung’s standards.
Now there are certain Countries which are mostly in Europe where you can use and take full advantage of this function. Samsung didn’t give any official version as to why this feature is not available Worldwide – we haven’t got the official statement yet. Certain certifications might be required and laws are different for all countries. However, we would love the Galaxy Watch ECG functionality worldwide. We could not check the functionality at hand. But once it’s available, we sure would bring in a detailed review of this feature.
Samsung Galaxy Watch – List of Countries -ECG and Blood pressure monitoring

To monitor your vitals you’ll require the “Samsung Health Monitor” app. Which will be paired with your watches. The app can be downloaded from Galaxy Store.
You also need to update new software in your watch before using this app. This update is currently rolling out.
These are quite interesting and innovative features of Samsung’s watches while most of the wearables either can’t do.
Blood pressure monitoring requires calibration before it can be used. To do that, you should measure your blood pressure three times with a watch and blood pressure monitor. After that input the values you get from the standalone monitor into the app. After that, you can simply use the watch with its app itself.
