OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition- Cyberpunk-Themed 2021- Breathtaking Phone 2021

On 2nd November 2020, OnePlus launched the Oneplus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 limited edition of its latest phone. Reviewed it and found that it’s a great phone with tremendous specs and has an eye-catching design.

Price in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh

The price of this smartphone in Pakistan is Rs. 129,999 PKR.  Whereas in India its price starts at INR.44,500. In Bangladesh, its price is BDT.58,200.

Unboxing and Design

The accessories box contains a 65W charger which is just the same as the previous one but one more branding of Cyberpunk 2077 is there. There’s a case too for the protection purpose with cutouts for the panels at the back.

If we talk about its design that is a lot more different than the previous version of OnePlus. It has an enlarged camera module though it has an excellent back. Since the phone is redesigned thus the weight and its thickness expanded a bit. Moreover, it has IP68 dust/water resistance (up to 1.5m for 30 mins).

Colors and Variants

It is available in two colors.  One is Aquamarine Green and another one is Lunar Silver.  In fact, both the colors are decent in their own way and attract buyers.

Display and Back

The special feature of this phone is that it has Cyberpunk 2077-inspired design. It has 6.55 inches AMOLED display and FHD+ Resolution. Additionally, it comes with a Quad 48MP back camera and 16MP front camera. Furthermore,  Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for protection with 120Hz refresh rate. In addition to that, the screen has a resolution of 1080 x 2400 Pixels and 402 PPI pixel density. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9

This phone at its back got a lot of branding, we can divide it into three parts. The first part has the camera setup, the central part has the AG glass. whereas the lower part has a Black finish (shiny carbon). It weighs 188 g (6.63 oz.) and has the dimension of 160.7 x 74.1 x 8.4 mm (6.33 x 2.92 x 0.33 in).

Camera

This phone comes with a Quad Camera setup. The Main camera is 48MP. Rear Camera sensor types are wide, ultrawide, Telephoto, and depth sensor. Moreover, the Rear camera has an aperture of f/1.8. Whereas it features Dual LED flash, HDR, Panorama, 2160p@30/60fps,  1080p@30/60/240fps,  Auto HDR,  and gyro-EIS.

Furthermore, the front camera is 16MP and has a wide sensor type. in addition to that front camera features Auto-HDR, Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus, Video (2160p@30/60fps,  1080p@30/60/240fps,  Auto HDR, gyro-EIS). 

Software and Performance

It runs on OxygenOs 11 that is basically based on Android 11. In fact, this version helps you to get to what matters the most on your smartphone. This phone has the chipset of  Snapdragon 865 Soc. Furthermore, it is paired with 12GM of RAM. in fact it has an octa-core processor with the GPU of Adreno 650. The phone is powered by Octa-core (2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 585 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 585 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 585) processor.

Hardware

It features the same hardware as the OnePlus 8T. This phone has a 120Hz refresh rate and has an AMOLED display. Furthermore, it is powered by the Snapdragon 865 chipset with a 4500mAh battery(Li-Po non-removable). Moreover, it has 16GB RAM and 256GB ROM and no slot for SD card. In fact it has a Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and barometer

Direct Competitors

It is always quite pretty to check different devices in the same or below range before buying. let’s going to list them out.

1. Xiaomi Mi 10T: The price of the Xiaomi Mi 1oT is Rs. 69,999 PKR.  It offers a 6.67inch Display with a 144Hz refresh rate which is not present in OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077.

2. Samsung Galaxy S20 FE: The price of the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is Rs. 119,999. The great thing about it is the Super AMOLED 6.5 inch Panel with the chipset of Exynos 990 (7 nm+)  as compared to the OnePlus 8T cyberpunk 2077.

Final Verdict

OnePlus 8T cyberpunk 2077 is a decent device with the top of the line specification. It comes with the same processor as the OnePlus 8T, not the updated one. Furthermore, its connectivity options include 4G and 5G. Plus it has a 120Hz refresh rate which’s great. If we talk about its performance it retains the Chipset of Snapdragon 865.

The most prompting feature is the 65W fast charging. This device has also added two new camera filter that will allow the users to take cyberpunk-style photos. Beyond doubt, it is good for gaming (supports high-performance gaming), capturing pictures and great battery life with that it is considered as multitasking. Under the display, it has a Fingerprint and Face ID lock for security.

You shouldn’t go for it if you want:

• If you want wireless charging
• want to get the Fastest processor
• searching for a lot more internal storage and want to expand it further
• extraordinary camera quality
