Realme GT Master Explorer Edition camera result is fascinating

Realme GT Master edition series got launched in China on the 21st of July. Although the open sales would start from 27th July, people who have got hold of it are flaunting camera results of Realme GT Master Explorer Edition.

Although we haven’t reviewed the unit yet, the camera results have started surfacing. And that too by reputable bloggers in China.

We already covered the pre-launch story of the Master series by Realme. And told you that the phone would be using the Sony’s powerful IMX 766 sensor alongside Optial image stabilisation.

Now, that the phone is launched, we are more knowledgeable regarding its detailed specs and the chipset that is doing all the magic for Realme GT series.

Realme has launched two variants. The regular Master and Master Explorer edition. But the bad news is, that both are using different camera sensor.

So you can bet your money on high-end Master Explorer edition that has Sony IMX sensor.

Now, a renewed blogger from China, aka, Digital Chat Station has shared some stunning photographs taken from Realme GT Master Explorer Edition on his official Weibo Channel. The pictures look stunning. With clear details and no fringing around the corner. Moreover, the night shots are crisp. Without any blurring effect, that is common from slow shutter speeds.

The interesting part of the Realme GT Master Explorer Edition is the presence of 19 GB RAM. The phone will have a dedicated 12 GB RAM, while a 7GB of virtual RAM. Virtual RAM is referred to as fusion technology, which shares RAM from storage, if and when needed, to carry out heavy multiple tasks.

Realme GT Edition Series Design

The phone is co-designed by famous Japanese Industrial designer Naoto Fukasawa. He was earlier involved with the previous generation of Realme Master Edition. The design philosophy is being referred to as suitcase design. And that’s mainly because the phone is having Vegan Leather. Its looks stunning and gives a premium look.

Realme GT Master Edition Colors

The phone comes in three colors, namely Suitcase Gray, Dawn, and Snow Mountain. However, the GT Master Explorer edition comes in Apricot version as well. Which is little more premium.

Difference between Realme Master and Master Explorer Edition

The Master Explorer edition has an AMOLED display, a 6.55-inch display, which has curved sides. Moreover, it has Snapdragon 870 SoC which packs more power than Snapdragon 778 SoC on regular Master Edition phones by Realme. Regular Master edition by Realme has flat display but has same AMOLED display.

Both models have 120 Hz refresh rate. However the touch sampling rate on GT Master Explorer Edition is480Hz against the 340 Hz touch sampling rate on regular model.

Other differences includes, a little better peak nits brightness and screen to body ratio on higher end model.

For photography and videography, the cheaper model uses a 64MP (wide) + 8MP (ultra-wide) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup on the back and a 32MP front-facing camera. For us, the real talking point is the Realme GT Master Explorer edition’s camera.

Whereas, the premium model arrives with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS, 16MP ultra-wide camera, 2MP macro camera, and a 32MP selfie camera.

Another significant change is that regular model has 4300 mAH battery and the upper variant is having 4500 mAH.
