Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 is going to be a little tough as it will bounce back if you accidentally drop your phone from the height of 5ft or 1.5m. Also, we are thankful for its brilliant enhanced shock absorbers. Furthermore, it has a water resistance level of IP68 which means; in 1m deep water it can spend more than 30 minutes.

What does it provide to business professionals?

Samsung has been working with its partners to provide integration usable in different business scenarios. The push-to-talk function enables to use of the Galaxy Xcover 5 as a walkie-talkie with the Microsoft Teams applications. Moreover, you can customize this cover for all the apps you like.

It will not allow dust to come as it is sealed against dust particles. Moreover, it has a MIL-STD810H certification. It measures 147.1 x 71.6 x 9.2 mm. Besides all these, it has a 5.3” LCD with 720p+ resolution. The 5-megapixel front camera provides biometric security, built into the bezel above the display.

The Samsung Knox Capture feature has turned the 16-megapixel camera into an enterprise-grade barcode scanner.

The phone is running Android 11 with all the Knox security features, so it can carry and keep sensitive data or information as well. Furthermore, an Exynos 850 chipset powers the phone, which is paired with 4 GB RAM memory and 64 GB storage.

The Galaxy has a 3,000 mAh battery, which is user-replaceable. You can also charge through the USB c port at 15W.

Launch date and price:

According to some sources, in the UK the phone will be on sale on the 12th of March 2021.  You can also buy online at the Samsung Business shop for £330. Furthermore, the phone will be selling at the price of €290 in Belgium later.
