The brand new device Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is the successor of Redmi K20 Pro. It includes everything you would expect from the latest 2020 smartphone.

And falls under the category of affordable with premium specifications. Xiaomi always tries to provide something new and improved than its predecessor with a relatively low price change.

The smartphone is available in three beautiful and unique colours.  All three mains has been blended beautifully and forming Cosmic Black,  Lunar Silver and Aurora Blue.

Design and Feel:

The display of the smartphone has been designed beautifully.  The dimensions of the phone are 165.1*76.4*9.3mm (6.5*3.01*0.37inches).  The cell phone weights 218 grams. There is a glass front and glass back composed of Gorilla Glass 5 and the frame of the smartphone is made up of aluminium.

A disappointing thing about the is camera bump at the back due to which smartphone wobbles when placed on a surface. The back corners of the device have been rounded but yet it is slippery. The surface gives a reflection due to which fingerprints and smudges are quite visible. The overall device provides a different and pleasant display.

Display:

The smartphone is having one of the best LCDs in the market that is IPS LCD which measures 6.67 inches (107.4 cm2) that is approximately 85.2% screen to body ratio. The brightness of the smartphone is up to 500 nits and 600 nits at peak mean giving a clear viewing experience in bright light. Hardware:

The smartphone runs on Android 10 platform based on MIUI 12. It features Qualcomm SM8250 Snapdragon 865 (7nm+). The CPU is made up of Octa-core 1*2.84 GHz kryo 585 and 3*2.42 GHz kryo 585 & 4*1.80 GHz kryo 585). GPU is of Adreno 650.

If we talk about internal storage of the device then it has 8GB RAM and 128GB and 256GB storage being its two variants.  There is no additional SD card slot to increase storage.

Camera:

The cell phone has a triple camera at back designed in a way that camera is making a bump. The wide one is of 108MP and the size of the pixel is 0.8 micro m with PDAF.  The ultrawide is of 13MP and micro is of 5MP.  The front camera is of  20MP with f/2.4.

If we talk about the video quality then its 8K@30fps at back and  1080@30fps at front.  Other features of the camera include LED flash,  panorama and HDR. The colours of photographs are natural looking and there is little softness in the dark. The overall performance of the camera is pretty good and provides the best value for the money invested.

Software and performance:

Most of the smartphone of Xiaomi is running on MIUI 12 based on Android 10 and Mi 10T Pro 5G is one of them.  The device is having Li-Po 5000mAh of battery which is non-removable. There is also a provided handset charger of 33W and 3.0 is the power delivery rate.

The device has been provided with stereo speakers and audio quality is pretty good of 192kHz. There is no 3.5mm jack for wired headsets. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, GPS with dual-band A GPS, NFC and. Infrared port. There is no built-in Radio connection.  Sensors include accelerometer,  gyro,  proximity,  compass, barometer and side-mounted fingerprint. There is no SD card slot for the inclusion of extra storage.

Competitors:

Competitors of Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G include Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G,  Google Pixel 4a,  Samsung Galaxy S20, Realme X50 Pro 5G and Apple iPhone 8 plus.

Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G is available in less price than Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G with the same storage and little less battery capacity.  Samsung Galaxy S20 is higher in price with low battery capacity and high resolution of display than Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G.

Apple iPhone 8 plus is little higher in price with lesser RAM and less battery capacity than Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G.

Verdict:

Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro 5G is having the overall best performance. Its 144Hz refresh rate display adds value to the device. The camera is really good and there is quick face recognition. The bad things are spammy notifications and also it gets warm quickly. It’s the best device with a budget price and impressive 5G with prominent features. Xiaomi Top Rated Products

The size of the phone is quite large and the design is not likeable for all but still, the display features and the overall texture is pretty good. One should experience these features if looking for a device in such budget.
