Redmi K40 Phone is launching Globally as a Poco phone in May 2021

Redmi K40 is launching as Poco globally as per fresh reports. Whereas, originally Redmi K40 mobile was launched on the 25^th of February 2021 in China.

There are three variants of this phone. “The vanilla Redmi K40, The Redmi K40-Pro, and The Redmi 40K Pro-Plus”.

Yet another report revealed that Redmi K40 is not launching in other regions with the Redmi brand. This is not the first time that Xiaomi launching its phone by rebranding it as a Poco Phone.

Redmi K40 has seen record sales in China and there are reports of market shortage as well. Redmi as a brand has seen massive sales outside China. Its mid-range to high-end range mobiles have taken over as leading brand in some European Countries and Asia.

As per reports, a phone with the same model number (that is associated with Redmi K40), has been listed on another certified website.

This leaves no doubt that Redmi k40 is launching as Poco. We are almost certain that it will launch under the Poco Brand name in Asian markets because Poco has already gained much popularity in Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh.

Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) concluded that a phone model having M2012K11AG will launch as a Poco Phone. This phone is resonating as a Redmi K40 which means that The Redmi K40 is launching as a Poco phone in the region which are outside of China.

Redmi K40 Specification:

Redmi K40 is launching as Poco with a display measurement of 6.67 Inches of Full HD Display having 1080*2400 pixels with a 120Hz refresh rate. Although, the touch sampling rate has 360Hz and 1300 nits of peak brightness. Still, this phone not only runs Android 11 but also has MIUI 12 on top. Redmi K40 phone has a maximum of 12GB Ram with 256GB of internal storage. Qualcomm 870 Soc snapdragon is its powerhouse.
